Hi, I am SuzyQ.  I was found outside of a dance studio back in 2003 so my sisters and I received dance move names.  If you look at other kitties available from Friends For Life, you will also see my sister, Minuet.  Originally we were adopted as kittens, but we were returned in 2008 because our forever family felt we were too expensive to care for.

I have already been spayed and declawed and I am a really good girl.  My original family did not take care of me very well, because when I was returned I had severe matting of my fur on my back.  I can be an overeater and I could not properly groom my back.  A little brushing could have eliminated the problem.  I am still a bit on the heavy side, but I can blame a bit of that on my foster mom because she usually keeps me with kittens and therefore on kitten food.  Now she has me on Science Diet Adult Indoor, and we shall see in the coming months if a bit of the weight will come off.

I love to sit in your lap (as long as I don’t get too heavy) for as long as you will let me.  All you have to do is call me, look at me, or talk to me and I will purr for you.  I am not a big fan of having my belly rubbed, but if you stroke my face and back I will be forever yours.

I am not terribly playful and I do not get excited about the laser pointer, but I do occasionally love to play with furry mice.  Sometimes I get a little carried away and chew their tails off!!

UPDATE:  My foster mom thinks it's the cutest thing that I love to lick the "sweat" off the outside of cold drinking glasses.  I never try to drink anything in the cup, but I certainly love to lick the sides of the cup when they're nice and cold.  I will watch my foster mom from beside the desk and if the drink is too far away I will keep nudging closer and hope she notices to move it over towards me.  It's a cute, endearing quality!

I am a happy, well-adjusted girl who needs a caring family who will adore me for the rest of my life.  Could you take me into your heart and never let me go?
